The Japanese word for Reiki is translated in English as “Universal Life Force/Energy”. It is the creative energy of life that is in everything around us. It is our connectedness to our source. By bringing harmony to all areas of our life; Reiki is a natural means of healing. Using thisREIKI – Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a form of 'hands on' energy healing from Japan. Literally translated it means universal energy. This healing technique and reconnecting to the Universal Life Force helps to heal the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
A reiki practitioner channels energy and directs it into the recipient's energy field and body. This is similar to other healing systems that control and manipulate energy including qi gong, tai chi, chunsoo and yoga. Unlike these systems, a reiki practitioner does not use their own energy for healing: they channel directly from the source (universe). As a Reiki Master/ Teacher I am a channel for the Healing Loving energy of Reiki. In a Reiki session you will simply relax, breathe and let spirit do the work. Many people ask what Reiki feels like...It is an experience that is very individual...Reiki is the Life Force energy of all....and as we tap into that energy, we feel more deeply connected. Some of the experiences people have had with Reiki are: a sense of calm and peace, serenity, relief from pain, a cleared connection with spirit, seeing Angels, seeing deceased loved ones, more energy, emotionally healing of major life issues, and physical healing on many levels, including cancer.
Reiki is an experience. It is different for everyone and is intended that way. If you feel guided to Reiki, for whatever reason, you may want to try out a session. Many people that are guided to Reiki feel connected because it is something you have always known, but are just now remembering. Reiki Heals! Often times people come for a Reiki Session and feel so connected they want to learn Reiki, which is exactly why you were guided to it in the first place. At this point, Reiki is starting to become mainstream. I have worked with several cancer patients that have found that Reiki relieves their physical pain, as well as their emotional pain. MD Anderson, one of the leading cancer hospitals in the nation has a Reiki clinic in the Hospital, where they encourage their patients to receive treatments and learn the tradition as well.

My availability is limited to daytime hours, through about 6:30 pm. distance Reiki session can be scheduled as well. Reiki is an energy and you need not be physically present to receive the energy, it can be done across time and space. You can pay over the phone at the time of appointment with Visa or Mastercard, or you can mail in a check prior to your appointment.
